I'll remind myself “Every end is a new start”. Facing unpredictable changes, I'll stay flexible, embrace challenges, and keep an open eye on new possibilities.

When I have to part with somebody I have been getting along with, or when I realize everything has an end, I tell myself this:
From a long-term view, a person comes into this world alone and will also leave alone. Life has an end.
It is sad to part with someone you get along with very well. It is hard to let go.
I want to tell myself that parting is for a better meeting next time.
A person will face many partings in life. Some partings are short. Some partings are forever. I am afraid of parting. I am afraid of parting from my family, my friends, and places I'm familiar with. In August this year, my best friend passed away. We had known each other for 14 years. We have parted forever. Her leaving made me understand that parting is sometimes unavoidable and unpredictable. We cannot decide whether to part or not. We do not know whether tomorrow or the unexpected will come first.
I just want to say: cherish the present and enjoy the present.

It's an intersting question, also a thought-provoking one that we all have to confront in our life.
Actually, i don't see any flawless solution to this plight, where we are torn between past-life connection and, maybe, bright future or something we do crave for. It turns out the best medicine are always concerned with time. Time erases many things, including the pain and laughter, the memories that continues to hold you back.
But everything exists for its purpose, whether it ends or not. If i were you, i would let the old friends shape me who i was, and improve myself based on that, keeping what they've taught me, shared with me and went through with me deep in my heart, as if they have never left. Every time then on i realize we are parted, i just appreciate their bringing me where i am now, bearing in mind that what we've overcome buildt every piece of me. It is the mark that they have left on your heart that really matters, not the physical existence or maintenance.
So when you notice the end of a term, regard it as a reminder of your growth and the combat the future difficulties with the spirit it has brought you. Never say goodbye to the past, just embrace its leaving and have it tapped into its full potential.

I will tell the girl in my heart just let it go.

Don't get stuck on the goodbye. The time we hung out together wasn't a waste at all—it was a precious gift that changed the way I look at things. Even if we go our separate ways now, all the laughs and little moments we shared will stay with me forever. Yeah, everything has an end, but the warmth from this bond? It never really fades. I'll tuck these memories away softly and wait for the next nice surprise coming my way.
