What's the best piece of life advice you've ever received?
Answer

The most valuable advice came from my teacher. He said, "Stop comparing your behind-the-scenes life to everyone else's highlight reel."

It helped me focus on my own journey and find my own definition of happiness.

My mentor once told me, "Don't wait until you feel 'ready' to start something new; you'll be waiting forever. Just take the first step, even if it's small."

That push to "start before I feel ready" has led me to opportunities I never thought possible.

I think the most useful life advice is that ''If you say too much, you will lose.'' when we evaluate a thing, it is difficult for us to be absolutely objective, and some unobjective factors will offend some people, so it is the right choice to express less opinions on things and listen more.
