What's your favorite thing about autumn?
Answer

Those yellow, orange, and red colourful leaves, the iconic scenery, and the cold weather — all are different from summer. I like the harvest season, but at the same time, I also like the feeling of being a little upset in autumn — haha. Just kidding. What I really mean is that the cold weather evokes my creativity.

My favorite things about autumn are tied to its gentle, comforting vibe. First, the colors—maple leaves turning fiery red, oak leaves softening into golden brown, and birches glowing like pale gold against the sky. Every walk feels like stepping into a watercolor painting.

Then, the weather: crisp air that nips at your nose but warms up nicely in the sun, no sweltering heat or bitter cold. It's perfect for wrapping up in a light sweater, sipping hot apple cider, or biting into a sweet, juicy persimmon.

Lastly, the quiet calm. Summer's buzz fades, and nature eases into stillness—crunchy leaves underfoot, the rustle of wind through bare branches, and evenings that feel cozy rather than lonely. Autumn doesn't rush; it invites you to slow down, notice small joys, and savor the moment.

To me, the most special thing is gathering with family members, chatting, laughing, sharing, etc..
Of course, if I could have a chance to accompany my mom, I would be very happy because she is living far away from the city that I am working.

I love the whole autumn closely. Streaming wind, dancing leaves, and pristine air, they all gripped my heart tightly. However, as an exception, mosquitos are so frustrating that should be cleaned up.

The wind. In my hometown the autumn wind has its feature. It's more refreshing and lighter, leading people's thoughts to somewhere far. I remember when I was in senior high school, I would close my eyes to feel the autumn breeze, this makes me feel less pressure, giving my mind a break.

What's more, maybe because my favorite anime character is associated with the'wind', so I've always have a preference for gentle winds. Every autumn the invigorating breeze makes me think of him and motivates me to go forward. That was my cherished memory.

What I like best is the temperature in autumn. It's neither too cold nor too hot. The temperature is just right. There's no need to avoid the strong sun like in summer, nor do I have to wear thick clothes like in winter, which makes my movements clumsy. Besides, autumn has the National Day holiday, which is a very long vacation. I really love it.
