I live in Baoji City, Shaanxi province. In June, I planned to climb Mount Emei with my friend. On the 11th of last month, we started this pleasant and unforgettable journey.

After taking a roughly twenty-hour sleeper train, we finally arrived in Emei City. Then we took a taxi to BaoGuo Temple, which is located at the foot of Mount Emei. The driver warmly introduced the city to us, and we saw its clean and tidy environment, with lush trees and exquisite buildings lining both sides of the broad road. Looking far away, we could see Golden Summit hiding in the white clouds with a sense of mystique, which was our final destination of this trip. Having taken some photographs, we started our hiking trip from the red wall of BaoGuo Temple. We carried our bags, held walking sticks, and climbed the steep steps. Enjoying the beautiful scenery, I felt it was my first time being so close to nature. After passing through some ancient temples and climbing countless steps, we were surprised to see naughty and funny monkeys. To get past them on the road, I had to give them peaches, but I found them adorable. When we got to Yuxian Temple, it was dark and we were exhausted, so we decided to have a rest. In order to watch the sunrise at Golden Summit the next day, we had to continue our hiking trip at night even though we were very fatigued. Following a tough journey, we finally reached Golden Summit at 5:30 am. When we saw the sunrise, the spectacular scene made me excited and forget my tiredness.
