Do you prefer watching movies alone or with friends?
Answer

I'd like to watch a movie on my own and have some me-time.

Answered: Sept 24

I think watching movies alone is better, because watching a film is a profound activity that requires us to stay calm to feel it, instead of sharing it with others as a recreational activity.

I actually prefer watching movies alone, but afterward, discussing all the details with friends makes me feel like we watched it together.😉

It really depends on the movie! For films that are super emotional or thought-provoking—like a quiet drama or a deep thriller—I love watching alone. It lets me soak in every detail without distractions, and I can cry or overthink as much as I want.

But for blockbusters, comedies, or horror flicks? Definitely with friends! Laughing together at a silly joke, jumping at a scare, or geeking out over a big action scene just hits different. Plus, arguing about the plot afterward is half the fun.

So… both? Depends on the vibe I'm after that day! 😊

I actually enjoy both. It just depends on the situation. When I watch something emotional or artsy, I prefer being alone so I can fully focus and reflect.

But for action films or comedies, watching with friends makes it way more fun because we can laugh and react together.
