Answer

This year,I read the book"Educated"by Tara Westover. It is an autobiographical novel. The tenacity of Tara in the book attracted me and filled me with admiration. This book has prompted me to reflect on education and self-redemption.It is definitely worth reading."Educated"is not only a story of personal struggle, but also a fable about courage and awakening.Tara has proven through her own experience that education can bestow upon a person the wings to break free from shackles, and that true freedom stems from a steadfast recognition of one's own worth. As the book says:"When you take education as your wings, you will eventually reach the peak that belongs to you."

This year, I read To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, and it left a strong impression on me. The story taught me about justice, empathy, and standing up for what's right, even when it's difficult. I was moved by Atticus Finch's courage and Scout's innocent but wise perspective.

It made me reflect on real-world issues like fairness and prejudice. So far, it's the most thought-provoking book I've read!

This year I have read the novel Three-Body Problem (English-version) by Liu Cixin. Starting from unfortunate experience of Ye Wenjie during a chaotic era, this novel described the process of her mind and then talked about how she was eager to communicate with alien civilization for humanity's relief., Subsequently ,the battle between humanity and Trisolaris came to life. What impressed me most are not only vivid characters such as Wang miao, Luo ji ,Cheng Xin who incredibly prompt the novel's process, but the imposing plots such as a single droplet- like machine, with appearance beyond the imagination of human civilization, destroyed nearly the whole space army of earth which is comprised of over two thousand huge spaceships of which people were proud after nearly two centuaries struggling against Trisolaris since the threat began. What is more, this novel also includes the setbacks of humanity especially the vicissitudes of Luo Ji. And the end of it is not human's success. From my perspective, this novel is great no matter which terms you choose to appreciate.

I read To kill a Mockingbird in original English these days, the book left me very deep impression, which try to tell us we shouldn't have prejudice upon every person or things. We should treat everyone equally and be more inclusive. And this fabulous book taught me that reading can eliminate our prejudice upon things.

This book was given by one of my classmates as a birthday gift, thank you my friend, I will cherish it for eternity.
