After 10 years, will Ask Brainy become as popular as Quora or Zhihu?
That's a very broad imagination. Ask Brainy is a new community and going through its cold start stage.
With all that being said, this community has already got what most of communities lack nowadays: amicable atmosphere. I’ve seen people exchange ideas here in a polite and friendly way. I think this world help Ask Brainy go further.

I think users and operation take the core of this question. Community is different from social network platforms. The core of community is UGC, which is inseparable from users and interaction. China Daily app has accumulated more than 20 million users over the past 10 years, which represents its biggest competitiveness. Users are accustomed to discovering new things, understanding the world and learning English via China Daily app. This long-term accumulated user mind is hard to be changed in a short time. The construction of content is not difficult for the emerging platform like ask brainy. Now we can see that there is a complete set of content ecology in the community. Besides, whether Ask Brainy can really match Quora or Zhihu depends on their operations in the long run. As a saying goes, the easiest way to capture a fortress is from within.

I think this is absolutely possible in some ways. For example, Brainy could become the largest news and opinion exchange center in China, or even the largest news and opinion communication center in the world. I think that now many media are with colored glasses to see China, they don't understand Chinese, through the Brainly Chinadaily this APP, not only can let more and more people know China also can let people to discuss in this APP for all sorts of news and events, it is the thought exchange and collision, can better help news media to better see the people's concerns. Communication can break down barriers and make the human race more like a whole. But Brainly still has a long way to go. In any case, I believe Brainly will provide us with a more professional communication platform and enable people from all over the world to discuss many issues. That's good. Come on.

In my opinion, the biggest surprise that Ask Brainly gave me is its idea that using a different language as a defence to obstruct those of low quality out, because they can't understand what these words mean.So we have a chance to enjoy a more friendly environment. Also,we don't need to worry about being informed against like lofter, because it doesn't conflict with the mainstream culture.
However, its shortage is also very clear, those who is knowledgeable but don't understand English are excluded too, like the old. It's clear that though we can use English fluently, but not so native as Chinese. So it need more time for the public to get accustomed to it.Undoubtedly,Ask Brainly has a shining future.
Finally,I have to say that taping English alphabets is much harder and time-consuming than taping Chinese characters.

I think ten years is too long, at most two years can be better known than both of them.

What really surprised me is that the functions of this community are improving, for example, this version has allowed users to upload pictures in a more friendly way.
