Now there is an increasing awareness of the necessity of losing weight safely and permanently to many people. However, when we search for ways to lose weight on the internet, there are so many advertisements, particularly those belonging to companies that sell diet drugs or other weight-loss products, which promote misinformation about losing weight. In my opinion, people looking to lose weight safely should focus on changing their lifestyles permanently rather than adopting temporary measures. 

For instance, trying to eat less sugar and prepackaged snacks can be an effective way to lose weight. Much of the sugar people consume comes from fructose, which the liver breaks down and turns into fat. After the liver turns sugar into fat, it releases these fat into the blood, which can lead to weight gain. On the other hand, snacks are not always easy to avoid, but choosing some healthful snacks is also a positive step to take. Also, healthful snacks can also help people meet their daily nutritional needs and avoid excess salt and sugar. 

Moreover, many people do not exercise regularly and may also have sedentary jobs. It is very important to do cardiovascular exercise, such as running or walking, and resistance training in a regular exercise program. The cardiovascular exercise can help the body burn calories quickly, and the resistance training builds lean muscle mass. The muscle mass can help people burn more calories at rest. 

It is vital for people to focus on making changes that they can maintain. However, anyone who finds it challenging to lose weight may benefit from speaking to a doctor to dietitian to find a plan that works for them.

Losing weight doesn't mean you have to be hungry, we can still have our meals normally. The key is to eat less staple like rice and noodles, have coarse grain instead. Besides, have vegetable, low sugar fruit and high protein, low fat meat like chicken breast. I am on a diet also since September first, and have lost 2kg by now. Here are my meals a day for you to reference.

Breakfast: a bowl of porridge,a slice of whole-wheat bread, an egg, and some fruit.

Lunch: eat normally in the canteen 80%full.

Dinner: chicken breast, half of one corn and some boiled vegetables.
