I know many stars have accepted gifts from their fans.
Look at this! Meng Meiqi, a new Chinese star, shares her gifts from fans on social media.
I consider it a kind of blessing. It's not about taking bribes. And besides, why do so many people take it so seriously? It's just like sending a gift to your friend or someone else you like. Why not?

In my point of view, it's understandable for stars to receive gifts because it's a piece of heart .The fans would be glad if their idol receive gift. Stars do receive gifts if it is not so valuable like birthday card or phone keys, but it was improper if the birthday gift is too expensive, like big brand bags, perfumes, or even cars. Giving birthday gift is the kind of admiration showing fans' true love to the stars, shouldn't cost so much money. Besides, many fans are at the teenagers and their money for the birthday gift comes from their parents and they don't have much money to buy expensive presents for their stars. If the stars show off many expensive gift that would be a trend probably causing many students from poor families urging parents to buy expensive gifts. Which may put more burden on the poor financial status.

Actually, I think it's okay to give some gifts to show fans' admiration, but giving gifts with high-value is not proper.

I don't know how much the fans like their idols, why don't give the gifts to your friends or parents, the people who love you.

The fans gived presents to their idol because of the love and respectable. The phenomenon is very normal. Most actors do not think these gifts as the resource of salary at all. I also suppose people who have greedy mind would not own any fans.
